Closing…..bk 2

End summary

When peace, like river attendeth my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll. Whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say, it is well, it is well, with my soul.

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come, let this blest assurance control. That Christ has regarded my helpless estate, and hath shed His own blood for my soul.  My sin, oh the bliss of this glorious thought, my sin, not in part but the whole. Is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more, praise the Lord, praise the Lord, oh my soul.

And Lord haste the day when my faith shall be sight, the clouds be rolled back like a scroll. The trump shall resound and the Lord shall descend, even so, it is well with my soul.

I personally know I have a future in heaven. Come ye blessed, of the Father. My faith looks up to Thee. Now, in our most operatic voice, sing Matthew 25: 34. “Then shall the King say unto them, on His right hand, Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”  I am one of my Father’s bless-ed saints. He loves me even though I have wants and desires in this life.

Do you have the same blessed assurance of your future, as I do? Do you want the blessed assurance? Will you be found “wanting” on Judgement Day?

We desire our faith to be N

sight. We have trusted God for the selling of our home. This will be the second home we have sold in 10 months, praise God! We look forward to moving on to another adventure. We are under contract with a “buyer”. Since this week we have had big rains, we haven’t had the inspections we were told were to come. The buyer will want the home inspected to get the loan they require.
We know how this goes.
We wait. We have faith in God, no matter the outcome. We walk by faith not by sight, as said in 2 Corinthians 5:7.

Give Me Jesus P

This is actually what I want. This is also a song by Fernando Ortega. It’s beautiful and the idea is beautiful. Some lyrics include, “In the morning when I rise, give me Jesus. You can have all this world, give me Jesus.”

Idea for book 3….

Fictitious book about “Molly Katherine Simpson”. Lori, notice the initials….
She’s a lovely, modern, Christian gal. She’s in her 30’s. She’s more beautiful than she realizes. She rises out of bed, noticing the cat at the foot of her bed. She pets Sable, the cat, on the head. She happily kneels down beside her bed. She greets the day with her Savior. She is appreciative for the new day and that mercies are new every morning. She begins with the Lord’s Prayer and embellishes her love and worship for her Lord. She sincerely desires God’s perfect will be done on earth as it is in heaven. While loving on God, she thinks of love songs and sings parts of some to her First Love. She recalls the plans for the day. She asks for help for her day. While rising up, she notices that she’s been kneeling for about a half an hour. She smiles knowingly. “God, time flies when I’m in Your presence.” She makes her way to the bathroom to brush her hair, teeth, and wash her face.
Dialogue with the cat.
She creeps into her daughter’s room and wakes her with a snuggle hug. She tells her daughter she loves her and they both tell God they love Him. Molly reminds Cory that Jesus love her. Cory says, “I know, Mommy”. “I had a really good dream last night.” Molly swoops Cory up and carries her to the bathroom.
“Every tooth, Cory.” They laugh. Molly says, “Race ya to the kitchen!” She always lets Cory win the race. “Do you want oatmeal or cereal today?” “Cereal”, Cory replies. “What kind?” Molly asks this all the time, even though she knows her daughter’s favorite kind that she lets her have. Cory grins and pronounces, “You know, Mommy”. They both plop down to bowls of cereal and Molly asks Cory what she wants to pray about this morning. Cory’s reply. They pray. Molly is always amazed at the spiritual maturity of her 6 year old daughter. They eat and put the bowls in the sink. Molly gives Sable her food and water, then tends to dressing her daughter for the day. “Now hang out here watching Super Book while I get dressed.” “OK, Mommy.” As Molly finds herself in her closet, yet again, she asks God to guide her in her choice. She reminds Him that He knows what kind of day she is going to have….

Josh Moody’s book: How Church Can Change Your Life P

should be a good one. I wouldn’t like if I didn’t go to church regularly. I get spoonfed there and worship my first Love with others who love my first Love.
I heard of this book advertised on Moody Radio. I thought of my son. He thinks it’s sad that I’m not that interested in Science. He’s a physicist. It’s mind boggling in that Science is the study of intricacies God made, or, things man made from stuff God made.
Someone could say to me, “Oh, it’s sad that you aren’t interested in marine life and surfing.” (for instance)
Well, I think it’s great there are animals and things God made and they live in water.
I think it’s cool some people surf. I’ve not closed my mind to these things. I keep them at a distance because they don’t pertain to my daily life.

God and His word pertain to my daily life in every way. I mean, from my relationship with my hubby to what I choose to wear that day, to my taking care of cats, to “doing all as unto the Lord.”
Earth is not my home. I am just passing through and see through a glass darkly. (1 Cor. 13: 12)
