DONATE BUTTON

This feels odd, but, I’ll answer some question that some of you have asked me.

I don’t have a donate button. I appreciate the positive comments many of you have shared, more than you can ever imagine! Thanks so much!!

If you’d like to donate ($) to my blog posts for some reason, you can let my publisher know. He will let me know. This way, I avoid weird posts that some give me about “you- wouldn’t -believe- me- if -I -told -you”.  You see, I’m a Christian who lives in modern day society. I don’t curse on here, nor put up super sinful things that some have responded to my posts with. I’m not a super professional, but believe that we, as Christians, should share our testimonies.

(currently, I am trusting God for something…it does entail some money, but, I will, of course, write about it on here after, or during…..What a testimony to God’s faithfulness that is going to be!!!)

Thanks

All or Nothing II

Part of the problem/solution?? You may wonder why I say 1 Kings 18: 21 with Hershey’s bars? Lol

“And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow Him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.”

Jesus said deny yourself and follow Me. Umm, deny myself a little? A bit? Follow You some??????

food for thought

Meanwhile, ya know, we are all eating ALL the above chocolate….right? We didn’t have to go before the Lord, ask, decide, put out the fleece for an answer……just sayin

Tripod

We had a wonderful example, today in church, about how God is three in one. The speaker put up a tripod, yes, what a person uses to take pictures with. He showed us the 3 legs. He pulled them out evenly and stood the tripod up. It was firmly on the ground. He shortened one leg. The tripod leaned. He shortened it a bit more and the thing fell over.

This was an example of how we can have Jesus in our lives. We can love God and have Him in our lives. But, we desire the Holy Spirit to balance us and empower us. The Bible is full of examples of the Holy Spirit, but, the references were from Romans 8. There was a reference from verse 15 that says: “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry , Abba, Father.”

Verse 26 says, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which can not be uttered.” 27 says, “And He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”

God: the Father, Jesus: the Son, and the Holy Spirit are always on the “job” for us. Have you realized this? If we all, who believe, realized this, the possibilities could…I won’t say be endless because that’s too cliche. Meanwhile, I know of ladies on the Not4Dating website that could benefit from this realization…..yes, I confess……I went there……(ever looking for a female friend to go have coffee with and to confide in…)

All or Nothing

There is a personality disorder that involves a person’s thinking in terms of all or nothing. I tend to be that way. In psychological circles this is a negative thing. In debating going on a diet, this can mess with your head. Ha!

God talks about how He’d prefer if a person was hot or cold for Him: not wishy washy, or one way one day, and one way the next. (Rev 3: 15-18)
